For optimum list rental income, Country Marketing initiates an intensive six month campaign which will inform virtually every potential user of the availability of your list. The campaign includes an aggressive and effective use of the direct marketing media, direct mail to direct marketers, personal letters, phone contacts, e-mails, our website and trade shows. All costs are incurred by Country Marketing Ltd.

THE MARKETING AND SALE OF YOUR LIST

Once you contract with Country Marketing Ltd as your list manager, your list profile is evaluated for possible markets – both primary and secondary.

Then, we begin an intense promotional effort to inform all possible users of the availability of your list.

1. E-mailing potential users about your list
2. Introducing your list on our website
3. Providing comprehensive coverage of the specified markets through news releases to trade publications – including, but not exclusively, Friday Report, DM NEWS, Folio, DIRECT, Target Marketing, and Circulation Management
4. Developing a direct mail marketing piece that is sent to our own in-house broker/mailer file of over 400 individuals and other qualified prospective users in the primary and secondary user markets
5. Sending a copy of your list’s data card to Marketing Information Network (M.I.N.) and SRDS (Standard Rate & Data Service). These networks add your list to their computerized data card library, enabling the list-rental community to access your list profile information electronically
6. Making sales calls to prospective users in both primary and secondary markets
7. Making follow-up calls to all users who have used the list but have not yet placed continuation orders. Country Marketing Ltd works closely with brokers and mailers to help fine-tune selections and discuss more refined techniques that may convert a marginal test into a profitable one.
8. Placing ads and developing a second direct mail promotion – highlighting updated counts, selections, a specific aspect of a file, or targeting specific user markets
9. Introducing and promoting your list at regional and national trade shows
10. Coordinating Broker/Mailer meetings on your behalf, when necessary.
